Alyssa Mackey grew up on the Southeastern Plains in La Junta, Colorado. She earned her BBA in International Business and Marketing from Colorado Mesa University.

 

During her college years, Alyssa worked at Hilltop Community Resources, where she discovered her deep passion for the Western Slope and its community. After graduation, Alyssa stepped into a full-time role at Hilltop and now serves as the Development Specialist. Hilltop is a not-for-profit organization dedicated to creating connections and building a community where everyone belongs by providing compassionate and comprehensive human services. In her role, Alyssa fosters a culture of philanthropy that fuels this mission, connecting supporters with the meaningful impact their generosity creates across Western Colorado.

 

Beyond her professional work, Alyssa enjoys trekking across the country, discovering new camping destinations, volunteering her time, or baking sweet treats to share with friends.

 

As a member of YPN, Alyssa appreciates the chance to connect with local organizations and the people who make the Western Slope such a supportive place. She is inspired by the initiatives YPN leads to build a more engaged and inclusive community.
